Bio:
Kai Landworth is a Holistic Health and Wellness practitioner and managing director of KaiBodyMindWellness, based in Los Angeles, California. With a comprehensive background in wellness and healing, Kai is dedicated toward helping his clients achieve their optimal health and wellbeing. His practice is “holistic” meaning that he works with the totality of a person. He takes a collaborative approach that helps to empower his clients with tools and lifestyle habits that can be used for long term sustainability. Kai is trained and certified in health coaching, exercise therapy, functional movement training, corrective exercise, personal training, and yoga. Kai also teaches mind-body practices such as qi gong, tai chi, and meditation.
Through his holistic approach, clients can work on cultivating the body through rehabilitation, conditioning, and optimizing performance as well as transforming the mind and spirit.
His skills in biomechanics and rehabilitation are informed both through academic training as well as years working in physical therapy clinics, studying dance, yoga, and strength training.
Philosophy
KaiBodyMindWellness is a holistic and integrative wellness practice that focuses on cultivating peak performance through sustainable lifestyle habits.
Wellness encompasses the body, mind, and spirit and is built upon daily habits and lifestyle.
There are lifestyle habits that are central to health and wellbeing.
Some of these include:
-Movement and exercise
-Posture and breathing
-Balanced nutrition
-Awareness practices such as meditation, qigong, mindfulness, and yoga.
The mind-body connection plays a central concept in the work that Kai offers. The mind-body connection is a framework of understanding the dynamic interplay between the mind and body and how this can affect our wellness.
During a session the mind-body connection can be explored through movement, breath, meditation, and awareness practices, as a path toward development and transformation. Kai teaches yoga, qi gong, and tai chi, all of which are time-honored traditions to enhancing health, wellbeing, and consciousness.
The KaiBodyMindWellness methodology is based on a model of collaboration that helps empower clients toward optimizing their wellbeing.
Mind-Body Inner Work Coaching™, developed by Kai, is an integrated coaching technique that brings dialogue to both the mind and body during the coaching experience; mind-body practices which include yoga, meditation, breathwork, and qi gong are woven into the coaching process to evoke the necessary awareness, confidence, and clarity for deep transformative change. Like the mind, the body is regarded as a resource of knowledge, information, and wisdom to help guide and promote meaningful growth and learning.
